VA Student Progress Policy
Each term will be 8 or 12 weeks in length. If by week number 4 a student has completed no coursework the student will be automatically withdrawn from the course and will receive a grade of "W." American Sentinel University will file a VA form 22-1999b, indicating withdrawn after drop period - non punitive grades assigned. This will be effective as of the beginning date of the term. This will result in the suspension of benefit payments on the reported course. Once the course is re-taken the "W" will be replaced by the appropriate grade and will not negatively affect the student's status or GPA.
Note: VA students who drop a course after week 4 are required to pay the drop fee.
